Found in 2013, Salo Solar Ltd. designs, sells and installs complete solar energy systems. In addition to regular small and mid- sized solutions for houses, we offer bigger and fully customisable solutions for companies. At Salo Solar we only use high quality solar panels and installation accessories manufactured in Finland by our subsidiaries, accompanied with inverters from worldwide known manufactures. Our retail network extends to all over Finland and across multiple countries in Europe.
Manufacturing company Salo Tech Ltd. was first founded in 2014 and started solar panel manufacturing in Salo, Finland. The company had a mission to produce high quality SALO – solar panels that will tolerate the harsh conditions of The Nordics and set industry standards for modules in both durability and energy production. Salo Tech manufactures traditional mono- and poly silicone modules and various special panels from different colour options for cells and frames to all glass panels that can be fully customized to meet customer needs.

Salo Automation Ltd. was founded in 2015, when the demand for SALO – solar panels was increasing rapidly. Four years later a self built, automized 100MW production line was introduced. The new production line was based on a completely new architecture with cutting edge technology that also had a huge potential on global markets. The company’s goal is to keep innovating and developing new machines and production lines and offer their solutions worldwide.
Founded in 2015, Salo Energy Ltd. is an energy company that produces and sells solar energy generated electricity in Finland. It cooperates with local electricity companies, cities and municipalities and builds major solar plants. In addition, the company offers interesting investment opportunities in the future of Finnish solar energy business.

Even though Salo Tech Ltd. will continue selling quality solar energy solutions in Finland, the founders see a huge potential in global markets and cooperation. The demand is increasing for high quality Finnish modules that preserves their capacity in any circumstances and also for modern production lines that are based on a completely new technology. Building factories and taking the manufacturing process to a new area can help scale the business to a whole new level. In addition to this the company has a reseller in the Baltics, many product development partners in Europe and plans to enter whole new areas of markets.
Solar Finland has a vision to be an important player and a pioneer in the solar energy business worldwide. The goal is to set industry standards with both Salo – Solar panels and Salo Automation – production lines and keep innovating and developing with trusted partners.
